Canopy Discord Bot Terms of Service

Welcome to Canopy, a Discord bot that helps your community grow virtual forests while supporting real-world causes like planting trees.
By using Canopy in your Discord server, you agree to these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree, please remove Canopy from your server.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by Discord’s Terms of Service in your country.
- Server administrators are responsible for ensuring their community complies with these Terms.
2. Use of Service
- Canopy tracks community activity such as:
- Time spent in voice channels.
- Supported Discord Rich Presence activities (e.g., games, Spotify).
- Activity is converted into points, which may contribute to real-world initiatives (e.g., planting trees).
- Abuse, spamming, or attempting to manipulate point systems is prohibited.
3. Restrictions
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or misuse Canopy.
- Do not use Canopy in servers that engage in hate speech, harassment, illegal activity, or any content that violates Discord’s Community Guidelines.
4. Availability
- Canopy is provided “as is” without guarantee of uptime or uninterrupted service.
- Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time without notice.
5. Termination
- We may suspend or remove Canopy from a server at our discretion if we believe these Terms have been violated.
6. Limitation of Liability
- Canopy and its developers are not responsible for any damages, losses, or issues resulting from the use of this bot.
- No warranties are provided, express or implied.
7. Updates
- These Terms may be updated from time to time.
- Continued use of Canopy after updates means you agree to the new Terms.
